All Native Group employees may be spread across the globe, but their impact to the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is direct.
This is due to their high participation rate in the Ho-Chunk Way Employee Donation Program, which is a voluntary employee donation program that helps employees live the company’s mission by making a direct and lasting difference among community priorities.
Recently, Ho-Chunk Way committee members were honored to present HoChunk Renaissance, the Tribe’s language and culture revitalization program, with a donation of $26,990. The check was the first of two donation amounts that will total $50,000 to the program.
“Culture and language are essential aspects of a healthy and thriving community,” said Annette Hamilton, COO of Ho-Chunk, Inc., the economic development arm of the Winnebago Tribe.
ANG is a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc.
“The missions of HoChunk Renaissance and Ho-Chunk, Inc. share things in common. We are both working together for self-sufficiency and self-determination,” Hamilton added.
Since the Ho-Chunk Way program started in 2017, employees have helped raise over $224,000.
