Calvin Willett, System Administrator

Get to know Calvin Willett, System Administrator for All Native Group. Calvin installs and configures computer hardware and software. He also responds to Information Technology service issues and requests. We sat down with Calvin to hear more and here’s what we found out about him.


What do you enjoy most about the work you do?

I enjoy helping people resolve their issues and learning new skills when working with my IT team.


How long have you been with the company? How have you been able to grow professionally since you started?

I have been with the company for two years. I have grown professionally thanks to my direct supervisor and Divisional Chief Financial Officer Josilynn Robinson. By working with my IT team, I have also learned more about Information Technology to help setup company networks.


What has been one of your favorite projects so far, and why?

One of my favorite projects was helping the company transition offices in Virginia from Alexandria to new larger facilities in Fairfax. I learned so much about setting up networks and firewalls.


What do you like to do outside of work?

I like hanging out with family and friends, and I also enjoy exercising and lifting weights.


What is something about you that might surprise people?

I believe it would surprise people to know that I am highly engaged in politics.


What has surprised you about working for All Native Group?

I have worked jobs where good people are hard to find. It has been refreshing to see the number of good quality people at All Native Group.


How has your work adjusted in response to the pandemic?

My workload has increased since the pandemic, but the flexibility to work from home has helped. I feel like the company cares about my health and wellbeing.


What has working through the pandemic taught you?

Working through the pandemic has taught me to cherish the little things in life that we, as people, often take for granted.
