Ho-Chunk, Inc. is pleased to announce the receipt of a $450 million multiple award federal contract to a company within its ALL NATIVE GROUP division. This is one of the top ten largest Small Business contracts awarded throughout the entire Federal Contracting Program. All Native, Inc. was recently awarded a competitive SBA 8(a) contract by the U.S. Air Force for the Technical Data Support Services enterprise (TDSSe) program. TDSSe encompasses the sustainment of Technical Orders and engineering data support services in support of Air Force Sustainment Center and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The contract work will support Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma and other satellite locations.
The mission of the Air Force Sustainment Center, headquartered at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is to sustain weapon system readiness to generate airpower for America. The center provides war-winning expeditionary capabilities to the warfighter through world-class depot maintenance, supply chain management and installation support.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management is one of six centers reporting to the Air Force Materiel Command. It is charged with life cycle management of Air Force weapons systems from their inception to retirement. Headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, approximately 26,000 airmen, civilian and contractor employees perform the center’s mission from nine major locations and dozens of smaller sites.
The Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract calls for All Native, Inc. to support eight Air Force and Foreign Military Sales technical data functions: Editorial Support, Technical Order Management Agency Support, Technical Data Distribution, Technical Content Management, Technical Order Library Management, Engineering Data Sustainment, Technical Data Functional/Customer Support and Interactive Electronic Technical Manual Support.
All Native, Inc. will also interface with the Government on Continuous Process Improvement programs to make processes more efficient, create programming development business rules and continually improve methods for capturing and sustaining technical data.
“This contract award represents an incredible milestone in our mission to reach economic self-sufficiency for the Winnebago Tribe. As the sole incumbent on its predecessor contract (TDSSi) to be selected for the TDSSe contract, we are honored the Air Force continues to have confidence in our abilities,” stated Lance Morgan, President and CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc. “The SBA 8(a) program gives Tribal businesses such as ours the ability to compete for and win diverse contracts on a level playing field. I know the professionals at All Native, Inc. will continue to provide the Air Force with superior services to meet and exceed the requirements of this contract.”
As part of its mission, Ho-Chunk, Inc. reinvests profits back into the Winnebago community by developing businesses that create jobs, designing and building the master planned community, Ho-Chunk Village, on the reservation for better housing and living opportunities, offering educational programs and more. Morgan added that revenue from government contracts such as this has made a big impact on the reservation and the communities in which Ho-Chunk, Inc. does business.
Recent Ho-Chunk, Inc. projects include the construction of a new mixed use building and a community park in Ho-Chunk Village on the reservation; a master planned housing development in South Sioux City, Nebraska; and the restoration of three industrial buildings in downtown Sioux City, Iowa, for mixed use purposes.
